With the upcoming Netflix documentary Pamela, a Love Story, actor and model Pamela Anderson is set to reclaim her story. Following a year that put her personal life back in the spotlight with the release of Disney+’s Pam & Tommy which dropped in February this year, she’s had to deal with a renewed media interest in her scandalous past.
However, with the to-be-released documentary on her life, she’s had control over the narrative and is excited to let her fans have a rare and intimate look into her younger days.
Netflix described Pamela, a love story as an “intimate and humanising portrait” of the famous bombshell who took the 1990s by storm with her role on Baywatch and her highly publicised marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.
“Pamela, a love story follows the trajectory of Pamela Anderson’s life and career from small town girl to international sex symbol, actress, activist and doting mother,” the streaming service explains.
The documentary will also show her relationship with her children, sons Brandon Thomas, 24, and Dylan Jagger, 25 whom she shares with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.
The film will feature never-seen-before footage from the star’s archive as well as access to her personal journals.
The 55-year-old’s project will be dropping on 31 January 2023.
