A 30-year-old resident of Kalutara South died after being beaten to death yesterday (18).

Police said the victim was found dead with injuries after being attacked with a sharp object near the Kalutara us stop in the Kalutara South Police Division.

A 36-year-old resident of Dhodangoda was arrested over the murder.

Police said investigations have revealed that the murder had taken place due to a personal dispute between the two individuals.

Kalutara South Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
