UP: 28 Muslims booked for offering congregational prayers in school

In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, the police have registered a case against 28 Muslims for offering congregational prayers on government property in Lakhimpur Kheri.

The police have registered a case against 28 Muslims for performing congregational prayers by installing loudspeakers in a school in Kashi Ram area of Lakhimpur Kheri.

After it went viral, Hindutva organization activist Ram Gopal Pandey filed a complaint at the Sadar Kotwali police station.

A case has been registered against them, however, no arrest has been made yet.
