Lanka Sathosa has reduced prices of five essential items in view of the festive season.

Accordingly, the price of a kilogram of big onions has been reduced by Rs.5 to Rs.185 while the price of a kilogram of dhal has been reduced by Rs.7 to Rs.378.

Meanwhile, the price of 425g canned fish has been reduced by Rs.10 to Rs,480 while the price of a kilogram of dried chilli has been reduced by Rs.15 to Rs.1,780.

The price of a kilogram of sprats has also been reduced by Rs.50 to Rs.1,100.

Lanka Sathosa said the price revision will come into effect today (21) across all Sathosa outlets.
