Businesscafe – In a heartfelt effort to contribute to the local community, Ceylon Agro Industries Limited, Prima Group Sri Lanka, recently organized a corporate social responsibility campaign themed ‘Empower Dreams’, a book donation program aimed at providing educational support to young students in the immediate vicinity, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment.
With the overwhelming generosity of employees, the campaign successfully collected a large assortment of school books and stationery items, reflecting the dedication to making a difference in the lives of young learners.
As the first phase of the initiative, a portion of the collected books and stationery items was distributed to the students of Ambalanmulla Jothirathana School, Seeduwa, on February 12th, 2024.
The ceremony, attended by employees, parents, school staff and students was a heartwarming celebration of community spirit and educational enrichment that showcased the positive impact that corporate social responsibility initiatives can have on local communities.
This symbolic gesture marks the beginning of a series of initiatives planned under the campaign to empower dreams, inspire learning, and support the educational journey of local youth.
